Whilst CASU have made every effort to ring fence materials costs and protect clients from an unparalleled increase in general overall costs, at this time the market is warning us that further fluctuation is likely in the short and mid-term.
Due to continuous rises in the LME, the strengthening dollar, uncertainty over trade deals and a general increase in billet premiums, alongside Brexit uncertainty and the instability of the pound against the euro – many of our suppliers are struggling to hold prices.
CASU will advise in advance if costs are affected beyond our control, however we encourage early engagement and placing of orders to avoid budgets becoming an issue.
