Main Contractor<\/strong>: Russell WBHO<\/p>\n Architect<\/strong>: John Matthews Architects<\/p>\n Scope<\/strong>: Curtain Walling, Windows, Doors, Sliding Doors, Rainscreen Cladding, Soffits, Copings & Steel Balustrades.<\/p>\n Oxygen Towers is a 32-story landmark development in the centre of Manchester, housing 12 penthouses and 361 2 and 3 bedroom apartments.<\/p>\n The development consists of 3nr separate towers, constructed via pre-cast concrete single skin panels and utilises 120m tall curtain walling screens, presented as strips with window and spandrel inserts utilising Aluprof MB70 and MB86 vents.<\/p>\n The gable ends feature full height Curtain Walling that include the largest lift and slide doors to undertake CWCT sequence B testing in the UK.<\/p>\n With over 5,000m2 of glazed products, this project has an indomitable effect on the Manchester skyline and demonstrates CASU\u2019s capacity to deliver complex high-rise schemes with challenges including onerous acoustic requirements (13nr different glass specs), and difficult logistics due to the footprint of the site.<\/p>\n Delivered during COVID, CASU are enormously proud to have completed these works to the level and quality that were achieved.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Oxygen Tower, Manchester Main Contractor: Russell WBHO Architect: John Matthews Architects Scope: Curtain Walling, Windows, Doors, Sliding Doors, Rainscreen Cladding, Soffits, Copings & Steel Balustrades.
